Role Overview

We are seeking a committed and detail-oriented Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our team and contribute to creating outstanding customer experiences. This role ensures all assigned areas remain sanitary through diligent cleaning, maintenance of equipment, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean assigned locations including floors, washrooms, offices, common areas, and entrances.
• Maintain floors by vacuuming carpets and performing wet and dry mopping.
• Dust surfaces such as countertops, pillars, light fixtures, window ledges, and ventilation points within reach.
• Polish office furniture and clean glass windows.
• Conduct spot cleaning on walls, partitions, light switches, and doors.
• Operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and restroom essentials are replenished regularly.
• Empty and sanitize waste bins while disposing of waste responsibly.
• Disinfect high-touch areas to uphold hygiene standards.
• Notify supervisors of any maintenance problems or safety concerns.
• Follow all safety protocols and cleaning guidelines diligently.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is preferred.
• Competency in handling cleaning equipment like auto scrubbers, swing machines, and burnishers is advantageous.
• WHMIS certification or willingness to obtain it (training available).
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality cleaning.
• Effective time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 pounds, and to bend, stoop, and stand for full 8-hour shifts.
• A positive work attitude and strong work ethic.
• Must be able to obtain reliability clearance and provide a clear criminal background check.
