Position Details
- Role: Auto Claims Adjuster based in St. John's, NL/Dieppe, NB/Dartmouth, NS.
- Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Onsite attendance required 3 days per week during probation, transitioning to 2 days weekly thereafter.
- Planned start date: early September.
- Mandatory certification: Completion of CIP C11 course and/or possession of an Adjuster license.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate claim reports by engaging clients telephonically and promptly managing the claim process.
- Conduct interviews with insured parties and witnesses to collect detailed accounts concerning incidents.
- Assess claims coverage to determine eligibility and validate the insured event within policy terms.
- Analyze gathered information to adjudicate liability and verify damage evaluations appropriately.
- Resolve claims fairly by validating damage assessments and coordinating payment settlements.
Candidate Profile

- Prior experience in insurance is preferred.
- Strong critical thinking capabilities, including challenging assumptions, identifying risks proactively, and optimizing processes.

- Canadian work experience is not mandatory; candidates must have eligibility to work in Canada.
