Civil Site Engineer

About the Role

The position primarily focuses on building construction, requiring hands-on site management and comprehensive supervision of daily construction activities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations at the construction site, including layout setting, surveying, and directing the workforce to align with structural drawings.
• Conduct inspections to ensure quality assurance and quality control, verifying compliance with safety standards, building codes, and quality testing procedures.
• Offer technical support by resolving onsite challenges and assist with developing project timelines.
• Manage materials, machinery, and equipment efficiently, including conducting regular inventory checks to ensure availability.
• Maintain and prepare detailed documentation such as daily progress reports and project records.
• Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols to maintain a safe working site.
• Coordinate effectively with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate uninterrupted workflow.
• Prepare billing statements in compliance with IS standards, including measurement modes, and ensure subcontractor bills are processed promptly for timely payments.
