Civil Engineer

Job Overview

SANY Saudi Arabia is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to manage and supervise construction projects in Saudi Arabia, ensuring adherence to local regulations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities for both general contractors and subcontractors to guarantee alignment with approved architectural plans, technical specifications, and contractual obligations.
• Ensure that all construction processes comply fully with the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and fire protection regulations mandated by Saudi Civil Defense.
• Engage and coordinate with municipal authorities (Baladiya) and Saudi Civil Defense for necessary approvals, site inspections, reporting duties, and project handover procedures.
• Monitor project quality, safety standards, and schedule progress to secure on-time completion.
• Critically assess engineering drawings, specifications, and construction methods to certify their compliance with applicable engineering standards.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including inspection reports and evidence of project finalization.
• Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure integrated and smooth project delivery.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in supervising construction projects, general contracting, or infrastructure developments.
• In-depth understanding of Saudi Building Code, Civil Defense standards, and municipal processes for approvals.
• Proven capability to work effectively with contractors and government bodies within Saudi Arabia.
• Proficiency in Chinese language, either spoken or written, is mandatory.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
