Civil Draughtsman

About the Role

Gopalan Commercials invites applications for a precise and skilled Civil Draughtsman to contribute to both residential and commercial construction projects in Bangalore, Karnataka. This full-time position involves preparing detailed civil and structural drawings, ensuring alignment with engineering and architectural standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete manufacturing process of copper products including piping, wire drawing, cabling, extrusion, and bending.
• Create civil working drawings, layout plans, section views, and comprehensive construction details.
• Develop structural and reinforced cement concrete (RCC) detailing in line with engineering requirements.
• Update and revise drawings following project changes and feedback from consultants.
• Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, and on-site teams to ensure accuracy and clarity.
• Generate quantity-related drawings and assist in construction document preparation.
• Maintain version control and documentation for all drawing revisions.
• Assure all drawings meet project specifications and adhere to applicable standards.
• Provide on-site support by clarifying drawings during execution phases.
• Adhere to project schedules and deliver drawings within set deadlines.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
• Expertise in producing civil working drawings.
• Strong knowledge of RCC detailing methods.
• Ability to perform layout planning effectively.
• Experience in preparing construction documentation.
• Competence in coordinating drawings between various stakeholders.
