About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and analytical Channel Development Consultant to help expand our presence in the Saudi Arabian market, specifically in Riyadh or Dammam. This role offers an independent consulting contract, renewed annually, with the opportunity to work remotely for a world-leading integrated pulp and paper manufacturer known for premium copy paper distributed in 130 countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate all potential sales channels such as copy centers, stationery shops, modern trade, and government sectors in your territory, analyzing their market shares.
- Develop a comprehensive list of prospective customers through target assessment and mapping.
- Work in coordination with the Head Office to design and implement channel strategies and action plans for enhancing the Double A brand presence, including channel-specific promotional activities.
- Maintain a disciplined visit schedule across all sales channels to build strong relationships and broaden your professional network.
- Keep monthly channel profiles accurate and up to date.
- Collaborate closely with distributors to design and execute promotional campaigns.
- Actively discover new opportunities to boost brand awareness and product placement in key sales channels.
- Monitor market trade prices across different channels and regions vigilantly.
- Administer marketing programs jointly with trade partners, analyze their effectiveness, and ensure proper documentation.
- Track competitor activities including pricing, promotions, distribution, and communications.
- Stay current on industry trends to identify emerging business opportunities.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in distributor recruitment and management, B2B sales, and working with traditional and modern trade channels.
- Must be based in Riyadh; Saudi nationals or native Arabic speakers who can sponsor their visa are preferred.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in FMCG.
- Bachelor’s degree plus 3 to 5 years in Channel/Sales Development or Distribution Management within FMCG, office products, or stationery sectors.
- Excellent proficiency in English communication.
- Preferred age range: 25 to 30 years.
Compensation and Benefits
- A total remuneration package of SAR 20,000 per month covering fixed fees, CDMI, and reimbursements.
- Remote work arrangement reporting to overseas headquarters.
