Role Overview
As a Casual Programme Assistant, you will be the welcoming presence that makes mornings or afternoons memorable for children, mainly covering afternoon shifts. The work involves flexible, on-call scheduling perfect for those seeking adaptable hours while contributing significantly to the children's experience.
- Afternoon shifts typically run from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM; punctuality at 2:30 PM is crucial, with finish times varying.
- Opportunities may exist for school holiday programme hours between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and assist children in engaging and safe activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and an inviting environment at the programme locations.
- Support the Programme Manager to ensure lively and smooth-running sessions.
- Monitor and report any behavioural, wellbeing, or safety concerns to management promptly.

Qualifications and Additional Info
- Right to work in New Zealand is mandatory (valid visa or citizenship).
- Must have reliable transportation to Nga Iwi and Robertson Road sites.
- Experience with children, whether through babysitting, coaching, or volunteering, is valued.
- Be dependable, energetic, and motivated to create special experiences for children.
