Primary Responsibilities
- Perform various small- to medium-sized maintenance and repair projects for residential and commercial clients, with job durations ranging from a few hours up to two days
- Engage with customers to explain necessary work and manage their expectations about project scope and costs
- Deliver superior service following the "Mr. Handyman Way" to create long-lasting client relationships
Performance Evaluation Metrics
- Customer satisfaction scores measured via surveys post-job to ensure high response and positive feedback
- Meeting or exceeding revenue targets by identifying additional service opportunities with existing customers
- Accurate job invoicing, sourcing materials, and collection of payment
- Maintaining quality work to minimize issues requiring recalls under the one-year guarantee
Candidate Profile
- Self-motivated and takes pride in workmanship
- Customer-focused with a clear alignment with company vision
- Reliable and able to work independently, often alone on assignments
- Comfortable communicating with clients about work details and payments
- Technologically adept, able to document work processes using supplied tools
Mandatory Job Requirements
- Reside locally within the service area
- Minimum of eight years paid experience as a handyman
- Possess own professional toolset
- Insurable driver with a clean driving record and background check completed
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and safely working at heights or overhead for extended durations
- Maintain professional appearance and upkeep of the company vehicle provided
Expertise Needed
