Job description
Role Overview
This position involves managing all aspects of building upkeep at Student Roost residences. You will handle tasks ranging from minor repairs to overseeing contractors and ensuring compliance through detailed inspections and reporting. Your engagement will contribute to creating a comfortable and well-maintained living environment for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular health and safety and compliance inspections to maintain building standards.
- Address and complete reactive maintenance repairs promptly.
- Maintain grounds and ensure outdoor areas are tidy and safe.
- Support decorative upkeep and refurbishment as required.
- Utilize technology and mobile applications for efficient reporting and compliance tracking.
- Manage debt-related tasks in line with company procedures.
- Escort third-party contractors during on-site work and inspections.

- Problem solver who can adapt and think quickly to find practical solutions.
- Electrical training will be provided; additional maintenance certifications are advantageous but not required.
Additional Information
- Salary: 26,227.50 annually, equating to approximately 13.45 per hour.
- Working Hours: Approximately 37.5 hours weekly, typically 5 out of 7 days, scheduled between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
- Location: St Mungos, Glasgow.
- Successful applicants must undergo a DBS check.
