Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and perceptive Car Purchaser to lead the acquisition of vehicle stock. Your expertise in automotive purchasing combined with a sharp eye for deals will be central to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively sourcing vehicles throughout the UAE by making outbound calls, leveraging online platforms, referrals, and personal networks.
• Accurately evaluating vehicles based on price, condition, mileage, service history, and marketability.
• Negotiating purchase prices effectively with private sellers and dealers to secure advantageous deals for the company.
• Organizing inspections, test drives, and compliance checks prior to purchase finalization.
• Collaborating closely with sales and operations teams to align inventory with customer demand.
• Maintaining meticulous records of sourcing activities and negotiation details.
• Achieving monthly objectives concerning purchase volume, profit margins, and stock quality.

Candidate Profile

• Proven background in automotive purchasing or sales; UAE experience is preferred, although significant experience from UK, European, or Australian markets is also valued.
• Strong comprehension of different vehicle makes and models as well as condition assessment and market valuations.
• Confident in conducting outbound sourcing and negotiating directly with private sellers and trade contacts.
• Holder of a valid UAE driving license.
• Exceptionally skilled negotiator who knows when to persist and when to withdraw.
• Market-aware with a natural ability to assess vehicle value and demand.
• Detail-focused and methodical, ensuring thorough evaluations without shortcuts.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented within a goal-driven environment.
• Trustworthy with excellent interpersonal skills both over the phone and in face-to-face dealings.
