About the Role

As a Cafe Team Member, you'll contribute to delivering excellent service, ensuring every dish aligns with our menu quality and food safety norms. Your role also involves maintaining cleanliness of kitchen equipment and customer areas. Enjoy flexible schedules and growth opportunities in a dynamic environment. New team members are guaranteed a minimum of 8 hours weekly with shifts scheduled within specified availability windows communicated 3 weeks in advance. Applicants must be 18 years or older.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Serve customers promptly, attentively, and courteously.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene protocols, keeping accurate daily logs.
• Implement first-in, first-out (FIFO) practices to preserve food freshness.
• Receive deliveries and ensure correct food storage procedures.
• Follow all established operational policies and procedures.
• Prepare, cook, and serve items following café menu standards.
• Ensure availability of menu items and uphold quality standards.
• Be thoroughly familiar with the menu to serve food as intended.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and communicate issues to the Café Manager.
• Keep updated with company communications and new initiatives.
• Sanitize tables consistently to maintain café cleanliness.
