Primary Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly, demonstrating true hospitality and collaborating as a team member.
- Assist servers by efficiently delivering food to guests, ensuring outstanding service.
- Maintain tables by promptly clearing and setting them following Tommy Bahama's standards to create a relaxing atmosphere.
- Support the team by upholding cleanliness and sanitation throughout the environment for all employees and guests.
Candidate Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in serving or a related role within a full-service restaurant.
- Possession of a current food handler's card and alcohol service certification as mandated by applicable laws.
- Fundamental understanding of food and beverage service and hospitality principles.
- Strong guest service abilities and communication skills.
- Minimum education of a high school diploma or GED.
- Flexibility to undertake additional duties necessary for business support.
Physical and Work Requirements
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Frequent bending, stooping, or kneeling during shifts.
- Standing for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Operation of equipment including hand carts, blenders, knives, slicers, wine keys, and other tools as specified in training materials.
- Shift schedules will be determined according to business demands.
Compensation
Compensation varies depending on experience, knowledge, skillset, location, and budget considerations. The hourly pay range is from $15.00 (or minimum wage if higher) up to $17.00 per hour, plus tips.
