This role is presented on behalf of a partner company that manages all application procedures. The company seeks a skilled Business Operations expert based in the United Kingdom to become an essential operational collaborator in a growing, remote-first organization.
You will collaborate directly with leadership to develop internal systems, processes, and infrastructure vital for ensuring sustainable expansion. Key functions include overseeing people operations, managing investor relations, contracts, and vendor partnerships. Key Responsibilities
- Handle complete people operations lifecycle such as onboarding, offboarding, employment paperwork, account oversight, equipment logistics, and employee lifecycle management.
- Administer HR platforms and people operation tools, maintaining accurate data and consistent internal records.
- Assist with compensation processes including salary adjustments, equity documentation, and related employee updates.
- Cultivate company culture initiatives including team rituals, employee engagement, celebrations, and activities tailored for remote teams.
- Plan and organize company-wide offsite events covering logistics, travel, venues, and agendas from conception to execution.
- Coordinate board meetings, handling scheduling, document preparation, minute-taking, and ensuring actionable follow-ups.
- Support investor relations through managing communications, documentation requests, and corporate administrative tasks.
- Review contractual agreements with vendors and partners, assessing commercial implications, potential risks, and opportunities before approval.
- Manage contract processes including workflows, signatures, stakeholder alignment, and maintain vendor relationships.
- Oversee operational reporting obligations with external collaborators and infrastructure service providers.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in operations, corporate administration, legal operations or similar roles within fast-paced startup environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage critical, detail-heavy processes such as contracts, board operations, employee documentation, or administrative workflows.
- Exceptional organizational aptitude capable of juggling various priorities with diligent follow-through.
- Exhibited discretion and sound judgment when managing sensitive data such as compensation figures, company records, and strategic information.
- Competent in interpreting business agreements, identifying significant commercial aspects, and knowing when to escalate legal matters.
- A proactive attitude focused on process optimization, early risk detection, and delivering practical solutions.
- Interest in automation and artificial intelligence tools to enhance repetitive operational tasks.
- Capable of effective collaboration across different time zones within a globally distributed remote team.

Compensation and Benefits
