Role Overview
Sleek is looking for a dynamic Business Development Representative based in Sydney who will directly report to the AU Country Manager/Co-founder. This role is key to driving aggressive outbound market growth in Australia through hunting and securing strategic partnerships that significantly increase customer acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and qualify potential partners across Australia's fintech, eCommerce, and tech sectors to build a strong, fast-moving sales pipeline.
- Engage, pitch, and onboard strategic partners capable of generating an initial 15+ net-new customers per month, scaling to over 60 net-new customers per month within a year.
- Lead comprehensive commercial negotiations from initial contact through contract signing, optimizing revenue share and accelerating market penetration.
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to activate partners and ensure quick referral generation and measurable return on investment from alliances.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in hunting roles within business development, corporate sales, or outbound partnerships in fast-paced fintech, SaaS, or tech startup environments.
- Demonstrated success in exceeding KPIs for outbound partner acquisition, pipeline development, and revenue growth from partnerships.
- Experience working with SMB or mid-market segments, identifying and executing strategic channel and distribution partnerships.
- Strong networking capabilities with a motivation to connect with key decision-makers in Australia's SME, accelerator, fintech, and eCommerce communities; having an active local network is advantageous.
- Robust commercial skills with confidence in pitching complex offerings, handling objections, and closing deals effectively.
