Business Continuity Analyst

This role supports a Fortune 100 corporate business continuity program for the APAC region. The analyst will help carry out continuity plans created by the Head of Business Continuity and Regional Business Continuity Managers, with an emphasis on consistency, operational readiness, and resilience across business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Act in line with the organization’s values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
• Carry out the business continuity approach defined by corporate and regional continuity leadership.
• Work with regional business teams to complete business impact analyses and risk reviews.
• Determine essential services, set recovery targets, and map key dependencies.
• Record continuity plan requirements in the corporate continuity platform to support standardization and formal sign-off.
• Coordinate recovery approaches with business teams and Global Real Estate & Facilities during the planning process.
• Lead business continuity exercises and tests to uncover gaps and confirm work-transfer and recovery procedures.
• Review large data sets and create clear reports that help guide decisions.
• Assist with the rollout and upkeep of tools and contact lists used for training programs.
• Partner with internal support groups to implement and sustain the program.
• Support workplace resilience efforts by coordinating with Facilities, Business Continuity, Information Technology, Security, and Crisis Management teams so disaster response activities are aligned.
• Handle additional related duties as needed.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in building and managing corporate business continuity or risk management programs.
• A bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with commercial business continuity management tools.
• Experience working with data from multiple sources to support strategic goals.
• Background in responding to major disruptive events.
• Ability to evaluate processes, systems, and operational issues to spot risks and areas for improvement.
• Strong interpersonal skills, along with solid written and spoken communication abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage several complex projects at once while meeting deadlines.
• Willingness to travel within India and overseas when required.
• Professional credentials such as DRII, BCI, or similar are preferred.

Working Conditions

This position requires the mental and physical ability to perform essential duties, with or without reasonable accommodation. The role involves regular computer use, occasional reaching and lifting of small objects, operation of office equipment, frequent sitting, standing, and walking, and travel as needed.
