Business Analyst

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with over 3 years of involvement in enterprise digital transformation, data, or AI initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record collaborating within agile squads, closely partnering with Product Owners, and translating complex business requirements into precise functional documentation. Fluency in both Arabic and English is required to effectively lead stakeholder discussions and produce executive-level communication and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements via workshops, interviews, and stakeholder engagement, converting them into detailed functional and non-functional specifications.
• Create comprehensive documentation including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows (As-Is and To-Be), use cases, and requirements traceability matrices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize backlogs, ensuring user stories are well-defined, appropriately sized, and ready for sprint cycles.
• Conduct requirements reviews and walkthroughs with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, solution architects, developers, and QA.
• Perform Fit-Gap analyses to align business needs with potential solutions, recommending process enhancements and digital tools.
• Maintain requirements baselines, oversee change requests, perform impact analysis, and manage version control throughout the program lifecycle.
• Define and validate acceptance criteria, assist with User Acceptance Testing planning, defect management, and release approvals.
• Work alongside UX/UI designers to convert requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and user journey maps.
• Produce high-quality documentation in both English and Arabic, suitable for clients and steering committees.
• Support pre-sales activities by providing requirements input, capability descriptions, and proposal contributions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Deep expertise in business analysis methodologies and agile project delivery.
• Proficient with requirements engineering tools and techniques including workshops, interviews, process modeling, prototyping, and story mapping.
• Experienced in using BA software such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, Lucidchart, draw.io, and reading Figma designs.
• Proven record in creating detailed BRDs, FRDs, RTMs, use cases, and meticulously crafted user stories.
• Skilled in Fit-Gap analysis, system use case evaluations, and stakeholder requirements reviews.
• Understanding of data-centric and AI-related delivery environments, including data platforms and dashboards, is advantageous.
• Excellent facilitation and communication abilities in both Arabic and English, both written and oral.

Preferred Certifications and Additional Skills

• Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or their equivalents are desirable.
• Exposure to AI/ML, advanced analytics, or Generative AI use cases is a plus.
