About the Role

This Business Analyst position supports operational improvement efforts through detailed business analysis, policy management, and compliance auditing within the customer energy resources (CER) domain.

Key Responsibilities

Lead initiatives to improve CER business processes by analyzing current procedures to identify inefficiencies and risks, gathering requirements, and creating formal work plans to implement solutions aligned with business goals.
Act as the main contact for maintaining CER's business policies, procedures, and documentation.
Conduct process and data audits ensuring adherence to tariff regulations using various databases, producing data-driven insights and recommendations.
Support development, testing, and deployment of new CER programs, services, and tools.
Prepare and coordinate routine and ad-hoc data reports as required.
Participate in company emergency response activities as assigned, including preparatory measures.

Qualifications

Education and Knowledge:

Bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies, preferably holding Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification.
Proficient understanding of business/data analysis, process and project management, and change management.
Experience working with databases, simulation models, and tracking systems.
Strong skills using MS Access, Excel, Business Intelligence tools, Artificial Intelligence applications, and collaboration software.
Good knowledge of personal computing and analytical platforms.
Experience with CER operational processes is highly advantageous.

Adaptable to shifting priorities and capable of managing multiple concurrent tasks with tight deadlines.
Detail-oriented when performing analytical assessments and developing thorough work plans.

Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation capabilities.
Interpersonal skills to effectively influence and manage sensitive issues with tact and professionalism.
Creative thinker committed to ethical business practices and sound judgment.

Experience:

Three to five years of experience in business, economics, statistics, or information systems.
Project management or active participation in task forces or project teams.
Experience with energy management technologies on the customer side in roles such as design, implementation, or planning is highly preferred.
