Role Overview
We seek a Brand Communication Manager based in Bangalore, responsible for conveying our brand’s narrative and creating compelling content. Embedded within a passionate, startup-like small team, this role demands versatility and creativity. The manager will strategize and implement marketing programs, establish partnerships, and execute event and content initiatives across platforms such as social media, blogs, and the company website to amplify brand identity and engagement.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a cohesive, cross-platform communications strategy aligned with CLO’s priorities to elevate brand recognition in the South Asia region and GCC.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends to optimize market reach.
- Build and nurture relationships with media outlets in technology, fashion, and related sectors.
- Collaborate with the global Brand Communications and local BizDev/Design teams to craft and implement branding strategies and content.
- Create engaging digital content tailored to target geographies across CLO’s website and social channels.
- Engage existing clients to promote cross-brand storytelling through various communication formats including video content, trade shows, and blog posts.
- Distribute press releases for software updates and milestone announcements via services like BusinessWire.
- Incorporate software updates and company news strategically within the communications roadmap.
- Measure campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed, reporting insights to the business team regularly.
- Lead regional trade show and event planning in coordination with global and local teams for impactful global events.
- Manage and prioritize incoming branding and marketing requests.
- Exercise judgment to evaluate and prioritize marketing opportunities efficiently.
- Plan resources for asset and content production, including individual content creation and artwork development.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s global branding strategy covering tone, visuals, format, and templates.
Candidate Requirements
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Bachelor’s degree in fashion communication, marketing, public relations, communications, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of practical experience in marketing, communications, or similar roles.
- Familiarity with marketing and PR tools such as Google Analytics, Mailchimp, and BusinessWire.
- Ability to analyze marketing data to gauge campaign performance and steer improvements.
- Deep understanding of digital media content and formats.
- Experience working either client-side or within media/creative agencies, capable of independent contribution.
- Expertise in creating brand-consistent media assets for channels including websites, email, push notifications, and SMS, with a keen visual and creative perspective.
- Knowledge of production and communication software like Photoshop (PSD), CorelDRAW (CD), Illustrator (AI), and InDesign.
- Proven ability to manage content planning and production across multiple channels in dynamic, adaptive environments.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Hindi and/or Bangla languages.
- Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices.
- Experience managing social media channels for technology or software enterprises.
