Branch Manager - Direct Sales

About the Role

Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance Company Ltd is seeking a Branch Manager to lead its Direct Sales Channel team in Bangalore (Jayanagar & Indiranagar). This role involves managing direct sales and providing tailored insurance solutions to customers to meet their financial needs while acting as the liaison between the company and clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct direct sales through appointments including office and home visits.
• Recruit, mentor, and support the sales team with joint field activities to optimize capacity utilization.
• Ensure proper follow-up on leads and appointments from the call center to generate revenue.
• Maintain accurate business reporting, sales call MIS (LMS), and track lead usage and conversions regularly.
• Achieve self-sourced sales targets independently.
• Promote and drive recognition and reward initiatives within the team.
• Meet the business KPIs: 100% new business target and 85% renewal business achievement.

Requirements

• Minimum graduate degree.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• At least 3 to 4 years of experience in Life Insurance direct sales with a total of minimum 5 years in life insurance industry including 2-3 years in direct sales.
• Good understanding of the Bangalore market.
• Knowledge of financial markets, sales process execution, business planning, and competitor benchmarking.
• Strong customer orientation and accountability towards results.

Additional Information

• Age limit under 40 years.
• Location: Bangalore.
• Reports to Area Sales Head in the Direct Sales department.
• Expected CTC ranges from 8 LPA to 10 LPA depending on experience and previous salary.
