Job Description
We are seeking a BIM Modeler to create and maintain precise 3D models that facilitate the design and construction stages of infrastructure developments. This role involves close teamwork with engineers, architects, and BIM coordinators to ensure adherence to project standards and promote efficient execution.
Responsibilities
- Construct detailed 3D models using Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, informed by design specifications.
- Integrate design revisions and updates as provided by design teams or BIM coordinators into existing models.
- Support clash detection and resolution processes through tools like Navisworks.
- Produce 2D drawings, schedules, and critical project documentation derived from BIM models.
- Manage model data diligently to maintain accuracy and conform to project guidelines and naming standards.
- Collaborate with other modelers and disciplines to synchronize model integration and consistency.
- Perform self-review and participate in formal model audits to uphold quality standards.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
- Proficient in BIM software suites including Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, and Navisworks.
- Understanding of BIM standards such as ISO 19650 and best modeling practices.
- Experience generating accurate 2D and 3D documentation and schedules from BIM models.
- Familiarity with managing data through Common Data Environments like ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Asite.
- Basic skills in identifying and resolving model clashes.
- Ability to maintain model precision and adhere to established naming conventions and standards.
