Role Overview

We are looking for a BI Reporting Analyst to enhance our reporting capabilities, manage business workflows, and support data governance efforts. This position involves creating and maintaining Power BI reports, administering Smartsheet configurations, offering Tier 1 platform user support, and supervising data quality monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and update Power BI reports and interactive dashboards.
Customize and improve Smartsheet templates, dashboards, reports, and automate workflows.
Perform data transformations with Power Query and author fundamental DAX measures.
Deliver Tier 1 assistance to users of Power BI and Smartsheet, resolving issues or escalating when necessary.
Oversee Secoda tool for monitoring data quality, lineage, and alerting on job status.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting data.
Prepare user documentation, FAQs, and training resources to facilitate platform usage.

Qualifications

Minimum of two years experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
Proficiency in Power Query and basic skills in DAX formula writing.
Strong analytical abilities with effective troubleshooting and problem-solving aptitude.
Excellent communication skills to assist and guide non-technical users.
Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience in collecting business requirements and converting them into actionable reporting deliverables.

Additional Skills (Preferred)

Familiarity with Secoda platform or similar data governance, data quality, and lineage management tools.
Experience in Smartsheet administration or development work.
Knowledge of SharePoint, Excel, and Power Automate integrations.
Understanding of metadata management and data stewardship principles.
Exposure to Azure DevOps environment.

Location

This is a fully remote role. Preference will be given to candidates in the Charlotte, NC area but it is not a strict requirement.
