KG Sports Bar is a newly established American-style sports bar located at the intersection of King George Square in Brisbane. Designed for major sporting events and memorable moments, it combines large screen displays, top-tier sound, chilled beer, and classic American bar cuisine to create an energetic atmosphere centered around live sports coverage including NRL, AFL, UFC, NFL, NBA, and NHL. The venue maintains a vibrant event calendar where quick response, cooperation, and consistency are key.

Role Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic bar attendants to join the launch team of KG Sports Bar. This role revolves around delivering excellent service throughout the venue, leveraging relevant experience to adapt swiftly and enjoy each shift while contributing to a lively environment that customers crave.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate as part of a motivated and unified team
• Serve food and beverage orders directly to customers' tables
• Clear used glasses and service items, and clean tables promptly
• Prepare the bar and service stations before opening and maintain them during shifts
• Engage enthusiastically in the sports-centered setting
• Provide professional service with an enjoyable approach
• Work according to the roster which covers seven days a week from 11 am until late

Candidate Requirements

• Proven track record in a comparable bar attendant or hospitality role
• Good understanding of beer, wine, spirits, and bar food offerings
• Familiarity with Shiji and QR code-based ordering platforms
• Personable, dependable, and approachable character
• Strong passion for and commitment to the hospitality industry
• Possession of valid Queensland RSA certification
