Job description
Position Overview
Join the Aviation Security Service at Queenstown Airport as a Load Assistant on a fixed-term part-time contract. This role involves welcoming passengers and preparing them for pre-flight security checks at both international and domestic screening locations. Comprehensive training will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary.
Work Schedule
The positions require availability for 7-hour shifts from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm or 11:30 am to 6:30 pm, seven days a week. The roster follows a 6 days on, 3 days off rotation, including weekends and public holidays.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary is $60,382 (pro rata), equating to approximately $28.95 per hour. Employees receive a uniform and five days of paid in-depth training before starting. Continuous support is provided throughout employment.
