Role Overview and Responsibilities

We have an immediate opportunity for an Automation Test Engineer to join on a contractual basis with a multinational client under Orcapod’s payroll. This role is based in Bengaluru and requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. The contract is extendable with a notice period of up to 15 days.

• Develop and implement automation testing strategies including test plan and test strategy creation.
• Conduct both functional and non-functional testing for SaaS applications hosted on AWS.
• Create detailed test scenarios, configure test environments, and generate comprehensive test reports.
• Perform requirement analysis, prepare test specifications, design tests, and execute test cases efficiently.
• Expertise in setting up complex test environments for thorough validation.

Mandatory Domain Expertise and Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience working within the electrical domain, particularly power systems.
• Proficient knowledge of communication protocols such as MQTT, IEC61850, and SNMP.
• Fundamental programming abilities in C# and C++.
