Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Automation AI Developer with 5 to 6 years of extensive expertise in creating scalable automation platforms, backend systems, data pipelines, and generative AI solutions. The successful candidate will leverage Python and cutting-edge AI frameworks to build intelligent automation and AI-powered applications that enhance operational efficiency and deliver actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks, backend applications, and AI-driven systems.
• Create and manage RESTful APIs utilizing Python frameworks like FastAPI.
• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines along with ETL workflows.
• Implement generative AI products including AI assistants, chatbots, and intelligent copilots.
• Work with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and vector database technologies.
• Develop AI Agent workflows integrating tool and function calling via orchestration frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph.
• Integrate with enterprise and cloud services through APIs and automation tools.
• Design and administer relational, NoSQL, and vector databases to support AI and analytics initiatives.
• Apply caching and performance optimization using technologies like Redis.
• Conduct data analysis and visualization using Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Plotly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams from architecture to business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end AI solutions.
• Ensure robustness, security, and scalability adhering to software engineering best practices.
• Engage in code reviews, comprehensive testing, and troubleshooting for high-quality deliverables.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies in generative AI, agentic AI, machine learning, and cloud platforms to propose innovative solutions.
• Contribute to technical documentation, architectural debates, and continuous process improvements.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Proficient in Python development with strong coding standards.
• Advanced skills in SQL and database schema design.
• Experience using FastAPI for API development and consumption.
• Knowledge of caching systems such as Redis.
• Hands-on experience with vector databases including Pinecone, Chroma, Weaviate, or Milvus.
• Familiarity with Python data manipulation and visualization packages: Pandas, NumPy, Plotly.
• Understanding of machine learning fundamentals and associated libraries.
• Proven experience building generative AI applications with LLMs like GPT, Claude, Gemini, or open-source counterparts.
• Expertise implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Competence in AI Agent workflows using Tool Calling, Function Calling, and frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
• Knowledge of AI development best practices including prompt engineering, context management, and semantic search using vector embeddings.
• Experience with software engineering best practices, version control, and CI/CD methodologies.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP), Apache Airflow for ETL orchestration, and agentic AI platforms like CrewAI or AutoGen.
• Building conversational AI systems including AI assistants and copilots.
• Insight into AI observability tools such as LangSmith, Phoenix, or Weights & Biases.
• Working knowledge of cloud-native AI services on AWS, Azure, or GCP and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of MLOps, model deployment strategies, and AI governance frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• 5 to 6 years of experience in AI development, automation engineering, data engineering, or AI application design.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale automation, analytics, or AI transformation initiatives.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities.
