Audio Creative Production Engineer

Overview

NZME is in search of a skilled Audio Creative Production Engineer to oversee recording sessions and uphold superior audio standards across a range of their audio platforms, including radio stations, digital channels, and podcasts. This position collaborates with well-known New Zealand audio brands such as Hauraki, ZM, The Hits, Flava, Coast, Newstalk ZB, and iHeartRadio.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinating and managing all recording session logistics
• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues during production to ensure smooth operations
• Maintaining and organizing audio assets effectively for easy access and quality control
• Receiving, backing up, arranging, and timely delivery of audio files with precision
• Collaborating closely with copywriters, account managers, and clients to meet production goals
• Supporting production activities for the podcast platform to maintain content quality and consistency

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in audio engineering or audio production roles
• Strong problem-solving skills related to technical and production challenges
• Expert knowledge in file management and organization specific to audio workflows
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
• Demonstrated understanding of audio production processes across various media platforms
