Role Overview

As an Assistant Store Manager at Autobarn, you will have a pivotal leadership role supporting the Store Manager in driving store operations and sales. This position offers an opportunity for those eager to take on leadership responsibilities or commence a career in the automotive retail sector, with a focus on team development and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, positive, and efficiently run store environment.
• Promote products, execute upselling strategies, and achieve sales targets.
• Provide knowledgeable assistance to customers regarding automotive parts and accessories.
• Coach and motivate team members on the retail floor to enhance performance.
• Support inventory management, stock control, and oversee deliveries.
• Assist with daily operational leadership alongside the Store Manager.
• Assume full store responsibility during the Store Manager's absence.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in retail leadership or assistant management roles.
• Strong customer service capabilities coupled with a track record of meeting sales goals and KPIs.
• Skilled in motivating and coaching teams effectively.
• Familiarity with inventory and stock management procedures.
• Experience in retail or automotive sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and eagerness to continue learning and developing.
