Position Overview

We are seeking an outstanding Assistant Controller to join our finance team. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, this role acts as a vital partner responsible for developing and overseeing various functions within the finance department, including financial analytics, periodic reporting, accounting operations, internal systems, audits, and tax obligations. The position requires cultivating strong cross-departmental collaborations fostering clear communication and alignment with the finance team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting activities and international consolidation efforts.
• Manage tax compliance and maintain excellence in finance systems such as FloQast and NetSuite.
• Serve as the primary liaison for audit engagements with BDO and ensure GAAP financial statement integrity.
• Enhance financial processes by leveraging AI to boost efficiency in closing cycles, reporting, and analytics.
• Support expanding international process improvements through structured implementation and oversight.
• Perform accurate and timely financial data analysis and reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis including variance analysis between budgets and actuals.
• Play a critical role in the yearly budgeting and strategic financial planning initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is mandatory.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Five to seven years of progressive accounting experience, ideally starting in public accounting moving to corporate finance.
• Experience handling international finances involving multiple currencies.
• Strong analytical, AI-driven problem-solving capabilities for strategic financial interpretations.
• Ability to adapt and excel in a dynamic, rapid-growth environment.
• Advanced proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel.
• Commitment to process ownership focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Excellent communication skills with experience presenting financial insights to senior leaders.
• Skilled in defining, documenting, and implementing accounting procedures and workflows.
