As an ASIC engineer at Qualcomm, you will be responsible for defining, modeling, designing (digital and/or analog), optimizing, verifying, validating, implementing, and documenting IP development including block-level and SoC designs for high-performance, efficient, low-power world-class products. Collaboration across multiple teams is essential to determine the path for product execution.

Role Overview

The position focuses on developing the memory subsystem for next-generation Qualcomm SoCs. You will contribute to modeling components related to memory infrastructure such as coherency protocols, network-on-chip (NoC) interconnect fabrics, system cache, and memory controllers. Additionally, involvement in client IP modeling encompassing modem, CPU, machine learning, graphics, display, camera, video, and peripherals will be expected, along with executing exploration campaigns to uncover opportunities for system cost, performance, and power advancement.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in C++ programming.
• Strong knowledge of SystemC for system-level modeling.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python and shell scripts.

Desirable Knowledge

• Understanding cache architecture principles.
• Familiarity with memory controller design and architecture.
• Background in CPU, graphics, and multimedia architectures.
• Knowledge of on-chip interconnection protocols such as AXI and CHI.
• Experience with Register Transfer Level (RTL) design.

Minimum Qualifications
