Job Overview
Join our Real Estate Development and Property Management firm as an Apartment Maintenance Technician for a multifamily residential community. Your key responsibility will be organizing, prioritizing, and completing resident work orders along with apartment turnovers efficiently and reliably.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete resident work orders and apartment turnovers thoroughly and on time.
- Clean and maintain vacant units as well as common building areas.
- Keep an updated count of pending work orders and communicate daily to the Property Manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the maintenance workspace.
- Participate in on-call rotations to handle emergency maintenance requests.
- Coordinate with the Property Manager for purchasing necessary parts and materials.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a related maintenance role.
- Strong abilities in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
- HVAC certification is highly favorable but not mandatory.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
- Professional appearance with emphasis on neatness and cleanliness.
- Reliable attendance is a critical job aspect.
