Role Overview

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee and enhance Power BI dashboards and other BI tools to deliver insights on key metrics, trends, and operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements, convert business questions into technical specifications, and create impactful dashboards and visuals.
• Ensure data quality, monitor dashboard performance, manage refresh schedules, and liaise with tech teams for additional support as needed.
• Identify and implement ways to improve decision-making through enhanced analytics and reporting processes.
• Manage business platforms including innovation hubs, virtual data rooms, and other strategic tools by gathering requirements, supporting vendors, and driving adoption.
• Support strategy and growth initiatives by conducting research, analyzing data, developing business cases, and assessing new opportunities.
• Synthesize both quantitative and qualitative data to offer insights and recommendations for leadership consideration.
• Explore and apply AI, automation, and emerging tech solutions to streamline reporting, analysis, and operational workflows.
• Create documentation, user guides, and process materials to ensure sustainable use of BI tools and platforms.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Science, Business Analytics, or related fields; or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, data analytics, operations, corporate strategy, or technology enablement roles.
• Proficiency with Power BI or similar visualization tools like Tableau or Looker.
• Experience gathering and translating business needs into reporting solutions or process improvements.
• Familiarity with workflow automation platforms such as Power Automate.
• Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce or comparable platforms.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical colleagues.
• Strong analytical reasoning to convert complex datasets into actionable insights.
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Experience applying AI solutions while considering ethical AI, privacy, and governance standards.
• Preferred experience with corporate strategy, business transformation, innovation programs, or growth projects.
• Knowledge of SQL, data querying, statistical techniques, analytics methodologies, and business tech platforms is an asset.
• Certifications in Power BI, business intelligence, analytics, project management, or AI are advantageous.
