Alternative Investments Team Overview

The Alternative Investments division within Investment Solutions handles the sourcing, creation, management, and promotion of various alternative investment products. These include hedge funds, funds of hedge funds, managed futures, private equity, private credit, real estate funds, exchange funds, and real assets. The team manages assets exceeding $250 billion and primarily serves high-net-worth clients and their advisors.

Role Summary

The successful candidate will join the Product Origination and Development group, focusing on onboarding and maintaining alternative investment products. Collaborations with fund managers, advisors, field management, and other internal stakeholders will be integral. Supporting analytical projects within the Alternative Investments unit is also a key responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate across teams including Sales and Marketing, Global Investment Manager Analysis, Legal, Operations, and Finance.
• Handle day-to-day deliverables linked to deals and contribute to long-term strategic initiatives like manager sourcing and product development.
• Support investment product launches by managing placement agreements, customizing offering and marketing materials, and presenting to Product Committees.
• Enhance and maintain important metrics and reports to help management monitor business health and uncover new opportunities.

Required Experience and Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Competence in managing and completing multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines.
• Ability to comprehend, implement, monitor, and improve critical financial and business indicators.
• Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Proficient presentation skills suitable for senior management engagements.
• Team-oriented mindset combined with the capacity to work independently.
• Professional representation of the firm to both internal and external parties.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Compensation and Equal Opportunity

The anticipated starting salary for this role ranges from $70,000 to $115,000 annually, subject to individual qualification. The total remuneration package may also include commissions, incentive bonuses, discretionary awards, and other company-sponsored benefits.
