This UK-headquartered, investor-backed company is expanding its presence in the APAC region with an Account Manager based remotely in Eastern Australia.
Role Overview
The APAC Account Manager will be pivotal in driving growth by serving as the primary liaison with clients throughout evaluation, purchasing, and deployment of usecure's cybersecurity solutions. This role focuses on onboarding and expanding partnerships with Managed Service Providers (MSPs), requiring the capability to conduct compelling product demonstrations and maintain consistent follow-ups to cultivate long-standing commercial relationships.
Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive sales processes, including discovery calls, product demos, follow-ups, negotiations, closing deals, and expanding accounts.
- Develop and maintain a robust and sustainable sales pipeline targeting SMB and mid-market sectors.
- Conduct consultative discovery calls to identify core challenges and effectively position usecure's solutions.
- Initiate new business opportunities proactively through inventive outreach methods.
- Deliver personalized, impactful product demonstrations suited to diverse prospect profiles such as technical staff, executives, and MSPs.
- Quickly attain expert knowledge of the usecure platform and the broader cybersecurity environment.
- Serve as the main contact during client onboarding and ongoing account management, fostering trust and adoption of core features.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling based on customer needs.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Enablement teams to ensure an excellent client experience.
- Contribute to shaping the APAC sales strategy and provide customer insights to enhance product and marketing efforts.
- Represent the usecure brand in APAC, supporting and expanding an existing sales team.
Qualifications
- A minimum of three years in SaaS sales or account management within cybersecurity or MSP sectors.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate, tell compelling stories, and confidently demo products.
- Strategic mindset with a proactive approach to influence team direction and growth.
