Role Overview
The Account Manager in Kingston, Jamaica will be responsible for driving sales activity, managing customer relationships, and supporting the full account lifecycle for IT services, solutions, and Microsoft-related offerings.
Skills and Qualifications
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or have an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience. A strong interest in technology is important, along with solid knowledge of selling IT services, solutions, and licenses. Excellent written and spoken English is required.
The employer is looking for someone with 2 to 4 years of proven experience selling Microsoft licenses, IT services, and solutions. Microsoft certifications such as MS-900 or above are preferred. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and understanding of Microsoft Cloud solutions will be valuable. The role also calls for strong self-management, time management, negotiation, communication, reporting, problem-solving, and customer relationship skills.
Responsibilities
- Implement sales plans within the assigned markets.
- Work with the marketing team to create and develop new leads.
- Convert prospects into qualified business opportunities.
- Coordinate smoothly between clients and the company’s technology specialists.
- Deliver on financial goals and other performance targets.
- Keep up with market changes and technology trends affecting customers’ industries.
- Manage relationships confidently at the C-suite level.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and administrative requirements.
- Lead the sales and account management process from start to finish.
- Build strong client relationships while identifying new business opportunities in Jamaica.
- Support Customer Care Program-related activities.
- Maintain regular and effective communication with customers.
- Work toward achieving and retaining certifications included in the training plan.
- Handle other procedural, administrative, and role-related tasks as needed.
