Role Summary
As an Academic Counsellor based in Chennai, you will oversee the entire sales cycle from engaging leads to successfully closing admissions. You will handle both inbound and outbound communication with prospective students, graduates, and professionals. This role demands confidence in cold calling, follow-ups, and counselling while identifying student needs and recommending appropriate IT, engineering, or creative courses. Meeting monthly revenue targets is essential, alongside maintaining CRM data and collaborating with trainers and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding.
Desired Profile
This role welcomes candidates with at least one year of sales experience, preferably in the Ed-tech sector. Professionals with telecalling or target-driven sales backgrounds are also encouraged to apply. Fresh graduates demonstrating excellent communication skills in English and Tamil, relevant knowledge, and eagerness to learn may be considered. Success in this role requires being target-oriented with proven deal-closing capabilities, self-motivation, a strong sense of ownership, and resilience in a fast-paced, results-focused environment. Familiarity with IT or technical courses is advantageous.
Compensation and Growth
The company offers a competitive fixed monthly salary ranging from INR 15,000 to INR 35,000, supplemented with performance-based incentives.
