Overview
We are seeking a committed Yard Operative to join the team at our Colchester Operation Centre (CO7 6HR). Our Yard Operatives play an essential role in our business operations, demonstrating enthusiasm for vehicles and resilience in all weather conditions. As a cohesive team, we support and empower each other to meet operational challenges efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to customer requests and complete service orders within set deadlines.
- Ensure vehicles are stored and maintained according to customer and company standards.
- Operate handheld devices to capture images of vehicles accurately.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Valid full driving licence.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Confidence using handheld technology and familiarity with basic IT applications.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
Working Conditions and Benefits
- Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Annual salary of £27,976.
