Role Overview

Our prestigious client, a leader in the automotive sector with operations nationwide, is looking to hire Auction Yard Drivers to support vehicle movements within their busy auction sites across the UK. This role is key to ensuring the seamless functioning of the yard by relocating vehicles efficiently between site areas.

Key Responsibilities

As a Yard Driver, you will be responsible for moving vehicles throughout the yard, which involves considerable walking over large distances. You must wear safety boots and high-visibility vests at all times to comply with yard safety standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold a full driving licence for at least 5 years.
• Applicants need to be over 25 years old due to insurance requirements.
• Licence must have a maximum of 6 points from minor infractions; no DR10 endorsements permitted.
• Good physical fitness is essential to perform walking and vehicle access duties.
• Effective time management skills to maintain workflow and schedules.
• A strong commitment to following safety procedures and proper use of safety gear.

Compensation and Additional Information

The pay rate starts from 12.71 per hour. This position offers the chance to grow within a leading automotive organisation in an encouraging and supportive environment.
