Job description
Role Overview
This position involves developing and managing Workday integrations utilizing tools such as Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Payroll Connectors, and creating Custom Reports. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining and updating documentation including design specifications, user guides, and troubleshooting materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and oversee Workday integrations with Studio, Core Connectors, and Payroll Connectors.
- Integrate external systems using APIs, including those conforming to OPEN API specifications, handling data formats like JSON and XML.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Workday application best practices and industry standards to enhance development effectiveness.
- Develop and sustain comprehensive documentation for Workday applications.
Required Skills and Experience
- More than 3 years experience with Workday HR applications and Workday Studio development.
- Bachelor's degree in technical, business or related discipline.
- Proficient with scripting and development in JSON, JavaScript, Web Services, XML, and XSLT.
- Strong expertise in using EIB, Core Connectors, Studio and related integration tools.
- Solid understanding of Workday Reports, Security, and integration support in production environments.
- In-depth knowledge of Workday business processes and utilizing RaaS within Workday applications.
- Comprehensive understanding of Workday's architecture and customization capabilities.
- Extensive experience with web service technologies including REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and familiarity with OAuth 2.0 authentication methods.
- Knowledge of Workday HR core modules and their integration aspects.
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
- Programming experience in one or more languages such as Java, .NET, or JavaScript.
