About the Role
The Wellness Programs Manager leads and oversees the Seattle LGBTQ+ Center's Mental Health and Harm Reduction initiatives. Collaborating closely with the Director of Health Services, they set and execute departmental objectives to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and provide guidance to staff in case management, group facilitation, care coordination, and referrals.
- Foster a supportive and affirming workplace culture rooted in community values.
- Organize and lead team meetings including healthcare navigators, interns, and coordinators.
- Identify and coordinate professional growth and training activities for team members.
- Conduct regular one-on-one sessions and annual performance reviews with direct reports.
- Manage staff schedules, PTO, and serve as Manager on Duty per agency protocols.
- Provide crisis intervention support when needed.
- Assist recruitment and onboarding processes in partnership with leadership.
- Support program implementation aligned with grants, contracts, and organizational strategy.
- Monitor program performance and ensure compliance with funding and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with data teams for timely and accurate reporting.
- Maintain mental health program documentation in electronic health records.
- Oversee internship programs ensuring adherence to university and placement standards.
- Define program goals collaboratively based on community needs.
- Maintain compliance with laws and policies including HIPAA and OSHA.
- Assist in budget development and resource management for assigned programs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three years in supervisory or program management roles.
- Master's degree in healthcare administration or equivalent experience with clinical background.
- Proficiency in case management, motivational interviewing, treatment planning, and care coordination.
- Knowledge and experience with harm reduction methodologies.
- Demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of serving LGBTQ+ communities with intersectional and culturally humble approaches.
- Experience with transgender, gender nonconforming, and diverse LGBTQIA+ populations including youth.
- Understanding of healthcare program administration, budgeting, and inventory control.
- Familiarity with HIV prevention, STI care, PrEP, and 340B programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Multilingual abilities.
- Experience with government grants and contract management.
- Background in nonprofit or community-based LGBTQIA+ services.
- Active licensure as a mental health professional and WA state supervisory approval.

Additional Information
