Warehouse Storeperson

Role overview

ACM Parts, part of Australia’s largest automotive parts network, is looking for a motivated Storeperson to join its warehouse team in Somerton, Victoria. The business supplies reclaimed, genuine and aftermarket parts, helping customers repair vehicles with more choice, better value and more sustainable options.

This is a practical, hands-on position suited to someone who likes to stay active, work collaboratively, and take pride in accurate and safe warehouse work.

What you’ll do

• Pick and handle customer orders with speed and accuracy.
• Use material handling equipment such as forklifts and order pickers.
• Load and unload trucks and other transport vehicles.
• Receive stock, label it correctly and place it into storage.
• Complete warehouse paperwork and keep inventory records accurate.
• Pack, wrap and prepare parts for dispatch.
• Carry out quality inspections to make sure parts meet company standards.
• Keep the warehouse tidy, organised and safe.
• Assist with broader warehouse tasks as needed.

What you’ll need

• Proven experience in a busy warehousing environment is required.
• A valid forklift licence (LF) is essential.
• An order picker licence (LO) is preferred.
• Mechanical experience is an advantage.
• Comfort using computers at an intermediate level.
• Ability to work independently as well as with others.
• Strong attention to detail, especially for pre-dispatch quality checks.
• Clear communication skills.
• Knowledge of safe work practices and OH&S requirements.
• Automotive industry knowledge would be beneficial.
