Video Editor Performance Marketing

About the role

This position sits within a Berlin-based performance marketing agency focused on paid social for lifestyle and consumer brands that want to grow. The team aims to create data-led content that not only looks strong, but also drives measurable business results.

The role is for a video editor who understands performance marketing and can turn raw material into assets that improve scroll-stopping power, retention, clicks, and conversions.

What you will do

• Edit videos with a performance mindset, creating creatives designed to stop the scroll and support clicks and conversions.
• Transform even average source footage into strong ad creatives that help sell products and services.
• Handle still images as a core creative format, improving them with a sharp eye for contrast, composition, and visual balance so they stand out in feeds.
• Add finishing touches such as subtle motion, captions, and sound design to improve the final output.
• Use AI-supported production workflows and experiment with tools like Kling, ElevenLabs, and Midjourney where they help speed up execution.
• Take independent decisions on where further optimization is possible within creative assets.

What you need

• Strong understanding of what works inside ad accounts and how editing affects campaign performance.
• At least 2 years of experience in a performance marketing agency or an e-commerce environment.
• Confident use of Adobe tools, Figma, and generative AI tools, with a strong eye for detail.
• Fluent German language skills, both spoken and written.
• Ideally based in Berlin, or willing to travel there regularly.
• Independent, structured working style and a readiness to take ownership in a small team.
