User Experience Designer

About the Role

Join Svayam, one of the UK’s fastest growing e-commerce innovators, as a User Experience Designer based in London. This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead and shape digital experiences from initial concept through to launch, working within a vibrant team dedicated to user-centered design.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage UX design end-to-end on new and ongoing projects, ensuring a seamless user journey from discovery to deployment.
• Conduct comprehensive user research including interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis to uncover user needs and validate design decisions.
• Create wireframes and interactive prototypes spanning low to high fidelity to effectively communicate design concepts and guide development efforts.
• Contribute to the development and continuous maintenance of Svayam’s design system to uphold visual and functional consistency across products.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and marketers to align project goals and deliver engaging user experiences.
• Review user behavior data, heatmaps, and feedback to identify pain points and improve user flows, enhancing overall satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 2 to 4 years of UX design experience, ideally within technology or e-commerce sectors.
• Skilled in popular design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Demonstrate a robust portfolio reflecting user-focused design approaches and methodologies.
• Comfortable executing user research techniques and iteratively refining designs based on insights.
• Experienced collaborating with diverse teams operating in agile work environments.
• Exhibit strong communication and teamwork abilities, balancing listening and presentation skills.
• Additional advantage for candidates with experience in mobile-first design or adherence to accessibility standards (WCAG).
