Role Overview
Join PlumLabs as a dedicated UI/UX Designer working fully remotely. In this role, you will be the sole design lead responsible for shaping the user experience across multiple projects, including enhancing existing mobile and web applications as well as leading the design of new products from inception.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end design process as Plum's primary designer across various projects.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to develop products ensuring flawless integration of design with functionality.
- Communicate directly with clients to gather requirements, provide design solutions, and foster strong professional relationships.
- Continuously improve existing interfaces to optimize user satisfaction and experience.
- Contribute to setting product vision and strategy, aligning user experience goals with business objectives.
Candidate Profile
- A curious, honest individual committed to ongoing personal and professional growth.
- Effective English communication skills.
Required Skills and Experience
- Skilled with design software such as Figma, Sketch, or equivalent.
- Firm grasp of user-centered design methodologies and best practices.
- Experienced in producing wireframes, prototypes, and polished mockups.
- Capability to conduct user research and usability testing with insightful analysis.
- Strong visual design ability with meticulous attention to detail.
- At least two years of design experience in a professional setting.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Passion for collaborative work with internal teams and external clients.
