Role Summary

The Retail Transport team in North Maclean, QLD, is looking for a dynamic Transport Allocator. This vital hands-on position involves managing transport allocations, planning delivery routes, and coordinating daily metropolitan shipments. The role operates weekdays from 7:00am to 4:00pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate clear instructions and maintain strong relationships with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
• Keep accurate records and documentation concerning run sheets, delivery timelines, and compliance.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients about delivery schedules and any changes affecting them.
• Adhere strictly to Safety Standards and Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirements.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a proactive individual who is eager to develop professionally and has a positive, diligent work attitude. Desired qualifications and skills include:

• Relevant experience in transport load planning, driver allocation, or fleet management is preferred.
• Proficient computer skills, with familiarity of Transport Management Systems (TMS) seen as an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Queensland metropolitan and surrounding geographical areas.
• Ability to stay organized and perform efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
