Role Overview

The Transactional Specialist position in Otahuhu is more than a typical billing role. The role involves investigating customer credit requests, analyzing root causes of recurring issues, and collaborating across departments to resolve and prevent problems. Additionally, this role supports contractor recoveries, invoicing, month-end accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and process customer credit requests efficiently.
• Analyze recurring issues to identify fundamental causes and implement solutions.
• Manage contractor recovery processes and handle invoicing duties.
• Assist with month-end accruals and reconcile accounts accordingly.
• Maintain and respond to communications via a shared team mailbox.
• Prepare reports and documentation for weekly approval meetings.
• Establish and nurture strong working relationships with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams.

Candidate Profile

• Self-motivated problem solver with a keen eye for detail and follow-through.
• Experience in administrative roles, preferably within transport or logistics sectors.
• Strong analytical capabilities and financial system proficiency.
• Highly skilled in Excel and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Capable of handling multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy and composure.
• Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
