Tracking & Tracing Executive

Role Overview

The Tracking & Tracing Executive will oversee the end-to-end monitoring of shipments, ensuring smooth transit from collection to final delivery. This position involves close collaboration with carriers and drivers to provide timely updates and uphold shipping schedules, while maintaining comprehensive records within the Transportation Management System (TMS).

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor shipments during their transit phases.
• Liaise with carriers and drivers to obtain real-time status reports.
• Accurately enter and update shipment data into the TMS.
• Detect potential delays or transit challenges and promptly escalate them.
• Ensure punctual pickups and deliveries as per schedule.
• Gather and validate Proof of Delivery documentation.
• Maintain effective communication channels with internal departments and customers.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong communication skills with a proactive follow-up approach.
• Fundamental understanding of logistics and freight operations.
• Experience or familiarity with TMS software, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic work setting.
• Preferably has prior experience in logistics or freight brokerage sectors.
