Test Lead / Test Manager

Position Overview

We seek a seasoned Test Lead / Test Manager to spearhead the Test Assurance functions for a substantial transformation initiative within the Financial Services sector. This role requires ownership of the comprehensive testing approach, establishing governance across diverse workstreams, and ensuring quality delivery throughout the program duration.

Primary Duties

• Establish and take ownership of the overarching Test Strategy and Assurance Framework
• Direct test planning and approach during the discovery phase
• Create and sustain integrated test plans encompassing all relevant streams
• Oversee the complete testing lifecycle spanning multiple workstreams
• Deliver governance, status reporting, and executive-level updates
• Manage allocation of testing resources and address risks, dependencies, and issues
• Maintain full traceability amongst requirements, test cases, and defects
• Drive readiness for project milestones, quality assurance, and sign-off processes for releases
• Champion ongoing enhancement of testing practices

Experience and Qualifications

• More than 10 years of experience in Test Management or leadership positions
• Strong background in Financial Services
• Proven track record executing large-scale transformation programs
• Expertise in managing executive stakeholders effectively
• Solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
• Practical experience using Azure DevOps and/or JIRA tools
• Strong capabilities in test governance, defect oversight, and reporting mechanisms
• Experience coordinating with third-party vendors and delivery partners
