Telecom Management Consultant

Job Overview

This role involves working as a Telecom Management Consultant with a focus on leveraging digital technology solutions within the telecommunications sector. The position is based in Bengaluru East, Karnataka, and involves engaging deeply with business analysis, project management, technology consulting, and client engagement around telecom digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize at least three years of experience in business analysis and digital project delivery within the telecom industry.
• Lead and manage projects/programs related to digital technologies including wireless networks, network services, omni-channel engagement, billing, and revenue assurance systems.
• Drive implementation and management of various BSS/OSS products and initiatives.
• Apply knowledge in digital domains such as mobility, cloud computing, data analytics, AI/ML, IoT, and reporting platforms like Power BI.
• Conduct business process analysis, continuous improvement exercises, and requirements gathering to define functional system specifications.
• Perform gap analysis by assessing current processes and developing improved future-state processes.
• Consult clients on B2B marketing processes and customer analytics to identify growth opportunities.
• Manage technology projects including vendor and stakeholder coordination, following Agile and DevOps principles.
• Lead pursuits and sales initiatives by articulating the value of company products and services through practical telecom use cases.
• Collaborate with client IT and business teams to identify opportunities and provide actionable digital insights.
• Contribute to internal activities such as knowledge management and recruitment.
• Represent the company at industry conferences by presenting relevant papers.
• Provide leadership on emerging digital technologies including Robotic Process Automation, Business Intelligence, AI, Big Data, and IoT.
• Maintain strong expertise in Agile development methodologies including Scrum practices.

Educational and Professional Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or full-time MBA/PGDM from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 business school in India or an internationally equivalent qualification.
• Preferred prior consulting experience with a leading consulting firm.
• Deep understanding of telecom B2B marketing processes.
• Proven track record in managing large, complex IT projects or programs.
