Technical Project / Program Manager - Enterprise Imaging

About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Project / Program Manager specialized in Enterprise Imaging for a partner company based in Germany. This role involves leading extensive healthcare technology initiatives aimed at enhancing clinical workflows and patient care through advanced imaging platforms.

The successful candidate will oversee the deployment of complex enterprise imaging solutions, coordinating technical teams, healthcare professionals, and vendors from initial planning through launch and stability phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale healthcare IT projects focused on enterprise imaging systems and related technological initiatives.
• Create and oversee detailed project plans, budgets, schedules, risk assessments, dependencies, and executive communications.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration involving clinical stakeholders, technical staff, vendors, and operational teams.
• Supervise all stages of implementation such as testing, deployment preparation, cutover activities, go-live execution, and post-launch stabilization.
• Facilitate AI and machine learning initiatives to improve imaging workflows and clinical operations.
• Work closely with healthcare, technical, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of imaging solutions.
• Address issues promptly, mitigate risks, and manage changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain effective communication among all parties including project teams, leadership, and external partners.
• Track and report progress clearly on milestones, challenges, and outcomes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a Technical Project or Program Manager role within healthcare IT.
• Demonstrated success managing enterprise healthcare technology rollouts.
• Experience with enterprise imaging platforms such as Epic Radiant, Sectra, PACS, RIS, AI/ML imaging technologies or similar.
• Thorough knowledge of healthcare IT implementation processes and end-to-end project management.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and navigate complex stakeholder dynamics.
• Strong communication skills suitable for engaging technical personnel, clinical end-users, executives, and vendors.
• Excellent organizational capabilities with expertise in managing timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
• Preferably experience supporting large healthcare systems or enterprise-level technology transformations.
• Understanding of healthcare interoperability standards like DICOM and HL7 is advantageous.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent credentials preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive hourly rate between $70 and $89, based on experience, qualifications, and employment terms.
• Mainly a remote working position with occasional quarterly travel required to support key project phases and go-live events.
