Role Overview

We are seeking a freelance technical designer/illustrator for a full-time contract (40 hours weekly) initially spanning 2 to 3 months, with possibilities of extension based on performance and workload. Immediate availability is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop clear, well-structured vector diagrams to effectively convey technical concepts
• Create sketch frames, visual development frames, and illustrated assets for animations from scripts
• Work within an established visual system adhering to defined creative guidelines
• Collaborate closely with the Creative Director and internal teams

Note: While animation skills aren't mandatory, experience in preparing and organizing assets for animation using After Effects is a significant advantage.

Additional Information

• This position prioritizes visual problem-solving over decorative illustration, focusing on turning complexity into comprehension
• We are a UK-based animation and design studio; the contract's payment is pegged to GBP
• Monthly compensation ranges from £1,100 to £1,900 GBP depending on experience
• Salary is protected against local currency inflation by being calculated in GBP
• Payments are made monthly through international platforms such as Revolut or Wise, allowing for receipt in preferred stable currencies
